To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing a die with a flange by a simple process.

The method for manufacturing the die comprises: the first step 1 of forming an original mold 11; the second step 2 of forming a female die 12 with the use of the original mold 11; the third step 3 of forming a male mold 13 with the female die 12; the fourth step 4 of attaching a plate member 15 to an end 13b of the male mold 13; the fifth step 5 of forming the die 20 provided with the flange 21 by coating a good electric conductor 16 onto the male mold 13 and the surface 15a of the male mold 13 of the plate member 15, and then charging it in an electrolytic solution 19 to electroform it; and the sixth step 6 of removing the male mold 13 and the plate member 15 from the die 20 provided with the flange 21.
