Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of porous ceramic that is provided with a large number of pores of super micro-sized pores and excellent in compressive strength, when manufactured with fine fibrous cellulose.SOLUTION: The above-mentioned problems are solved by a manufacturing method of porous ceramic that includes the steps of: mixing and foaming a powdered ceramic raw material, a foaming agent, and fine fibrous cellulose to form a bubble former; and sintering the bubble former to obtain a sinter having a large number of pores, wherein an HLB value of the foaming agent is 10 to 15, the fine fibrous cellulose has an average fiber width of 1 to 10 nm, a portion of the hydroxyl groups of the cellulose fibers is substituted with a functional group shown by a predetermined structural formula and an ester of phosphorus-oxo acid is introduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
