Abstract:
PURPOSE: To inspect easily a bonded state of a joint part of a piping and thereby to foresee or prevent the possibility of slipping-off of the joint part in this state.
CONSTITUTION: In a method wherein a bonded state of a piping joint part of an engineering plastic pipe of which a reinforcing material is deteriorated with time or not deteriorated is inspected by using an ultrasonic wave, the reinforcing material is coated and impregnated with an appropriate contact medium so that incidence of the ultrasonic wave on a member to be inspected can be made.
