Title:
METHOD FOR PREVENTING OUTBREAK OF PLANT DISEASE BY AIRBORNE PATHOGEN AND MATERIAL TO BE IMPREGNATED WITH BACTERICIDAL EXTERMINATION AGENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3939734
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for safely and easily preventing the outbreak of plant disease caused by airborne pathogens.
SOLUTION: A material to be impregnated with a bactericidal extermination agent is formed to a planar form and impregnated with a dry distillation liquid of a plant diluted to a prescribed dilution ratio, and the products are placed at regular intervals in a greenhouse having a definite ventilation property. The material to be impregnated with a bactericidal extermination agent is carbonized cotton and the dry distillation liquid is cotton vinegar. The carbonized cotton is a carbonaceous material produced by baking cotton at 800-1,000°C for 10 hr and having excellent adsorbing performance. It can adsorb particles as well as gases and liquids and securely holds captured pollens and mold spores. The cotton vinegar is produced by cooling carbonization smoke generated in the carbonization of cotton and has excellent bactericidal effect.
