Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide delustered coated paper giving excellent lustrous print and not casing a trouble in which an ink printed is transferred to a white part in a bookbinding process, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In delustered coated paper produced by twice coating raw paper with coating solutions, a primer coating solution containing calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of ≤3μm in an amount of ≥20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of pigments is coated on the raw paper, and a top coating solution containing clay in an amount of ≥60 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of pigments is further coated on the primer-coated raw paper.
