Abstract:
PURPOSE: To safely and stably carry out transportation and storage of maleimides useful as a heat resistance improver, etc., for ABS resin, etc., by converting specific malemides into its solution in acrylonitrile.
CONSTITUTION: Acrylonitrile is introduced into maleimides (e.g. N- methylmaleimide or N-tribromophenylmaleimide) having ≤0.01 amine value so as to provide the resultant solution in the acrylonitrile with 40-90wt.% concentration of the maleimides. Thereby, objective transportation, etc., are carried out.
