Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a mold for pulp molding which holds the merits of the conventional screen type mold (high durability without screen clogging) as well as has increased freeness in shaping a form.
CONSTITUTION: A resin mesh mold 1 of the screen structure 1A having the three-dimensionally formed face given by the optical mold designing method is held with a porous back-up mold 2 prepared by binding a number of granules giving pore openings larger than the mesh size of the screen 1A structure.
