PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester which can, regardless of a long culm crop, make a reaping trail in order and surely reap it.SOLUTION: A harvester comprises: an input shaft 7 which is disposed with a vertical shaft; an output shaft 8 which is coaxial to the input shaft and connected to a lower part of the input shaft; a cutter 6 which is pivotally supported by the output shaft in a manner permitting the rotation together with the output shaft; a drum 5 which is coaxial to the cutter and pivotally and rotatably supported; and a pair of rotors 1A which includes speed reduction mechanisms D built in the drum and disposed over the input shaft and the drum to reduce the speed of rotation of the input shaft and transmit it to the drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
