Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the speed changing time required for a down shift executed to increase engine braking force in OFF state of an accelerator, suppress a speed change shock by inertia, etc., and prevent reduction in life of a friction material.
CONSTITUTION: When a speed change output for the down shift to increase engine braking force is conducted in step S15, whether speed is changing or not is judged in steps S17 and S19 on the basis of the speed change of turbine rotating speed NT, and step S21 is executed during this speed change, whereby a throttle valve is open-controlled by a determined throttle valve opening (TH2+Th2) regardless of the OFF state of an accelerator to blow up an engine.
