Abstract:
To provide a method for bleaching with hydrogen peroxide in a method for non-chlorine bleaching of chemical pulp.
This non-chlorine bleaching of chemical pulp raises the efficiency of a treating step with hydrogen peroxide by carrying out treatment with a chelating agent or treatment with a mixture of the chelating agent and an enzyme, washing and then dehydrating and concentrating to reduce the concentration of manganese to be brought to the treating step with hydrogen peroxide to ≤3ppm.
