Title:
NONLINEAR ARITHMETIC CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3256738
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an arbitrary nonlinear nonmotoneous transfer function generating circuit and an arbitrary nonlinear dynamics actualizing circuit which have simple circuit constitution and low power consumption.
SOLUTION: A voltage source 3 which varies in voltage value with an arbitrary function of time including nonlinearity is connected to a capacitor 5 through a switch 4, which is turned on and off under the control of an input signal. The input signal is a pulse modulated signal having information when the voltage value or current value varies and the switch 4 is turned on the moment the voltage value or current value of the input signal varies to save the current value of the voltage source 3 in the capacitor 5. Then the terminal voltage across the capacitor is outputted and then the input signal is converted with a converting function of the same style with an arbitrary function and outputted.
