Abstract:
To provide an objective lens drive unit which is super thin type and is capable of coping with high multiple speeds, and to provide an optical pickup.
In the optical pickup, including an electro-optical components, such as a semiconductor laser and a lens and the objective lens drive unit, the objective lens driving device is provided with objective lenses, a holder for holding the objective lenses, focusing coils and tracking coils. The focusing coils are wound around an objective lens optical surface in parallel with each other and have parallelograms, having inclined parts in the vicinity of the tracking coils, and the two tracking coils are disposed at diagonal parts of the lens holder.
