Abstract:

To propel a propelling body through the ground while avoiding obstacles presenting in the ground.

A transmitting/receiving antenna is fixed to a fixing seat inclining against the axis of the forward end part 66 of a flexible propelling body. The forward end part 66 is rotary driven round the axis to advance straight or not driven rotary but driven to push in and a propelling body 64 is propelled while being bent such that the fixing seat and antenna 33 side is located on the radial outside of the track. The transmitting/receiving antenna comprising a flat section and a cubic section can enhance the directivity and multiplex reflection of electromagnetic wave to the inside of the forward end part 66 can be suppressed by means at a radio wave absorbing material made of ferrite.
