Abstract:

To prevent crack at high temperature and to improve the welding efficiency.

The shape of a groove 3 is formed in a V type or Y type, the root gap is made in zero in the standard state, a backing metal 4 is abutted on the back face of the groove 3, the external diameter of the welding wire is 2.0 to 3.2mm, the welding current is 500 to 1,500A, welding is executed by weaving the welding torch 6 (consumable electrode) toward the width direction of the groove 3, and one side butt welding method with using thus weaving is obtained.
