To provide an outer member attaching/detaching implement for a printing sleeve facilitating attachment/detachment of an outer member to/from an outer member mounting part while setting the outer member not to slip from a printing sleeve body.

The implement for use in attaching/detaching the outer member 3 to/from the printing sleeve body 2 in the printing sleeve used with the sleeve-like outer member 3 mounted on the outer periphery of the printing sleeve body 2, includes a cylindrical part 41 formed in cylindrical shape substantially with the same diameter as the outer member 3 and connected with one end coaxially disposed at one end of the outer member 3; an end face plate 42 formed at the other end of the cylindrical part 41 to close the other end; an air vent hole 43 bored in the end face plate 42; and a handle part 44 formed on the surface opposite to the cylindrical part 41, of the end face plate 42.
