Title:
OVERTURN-FREE WHEEL CHAIR AGAINST ANY LONGITUDINAL INCLINATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000014709
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an overturn-free wheel chair against any longitudinal inclination.
An axle extending from a swing bracket part of a seat part runs through a body frame to be linked to wheels at the rear part. When a user gets on the wheel chair, a force is applied from the front thereof eventually causing the seat part to be leveled forward as a whole. To prevent this, the maximum inclination thereof is limited by a pin mounted at the bracket part. A step plate is located behind front wheels to keep the wheels themselves from being forced forward even when the person on the wheel chair stands up for transfer.
