To provide a photoelectric converter which does not require a pad for inspecting the gain resistor of an amplifier circuit that amplifies the output current of a photodiode to give the output in the form of a voltage, and which is consequently able to reduce the chip area.
The anode of the photodiode 1 is connected to GND, and the cathode is connected to an inversion input terminal of an operational amplifier 2, to the collector of an NPN transistor 8, and to the output terminal of the amplifier via the gain resistor 3. The emitter of the NPN transistor 8 is connected to GND, and the base is connected to the base and the collector of an NPN transistor 9, to the collector of an NPN transistor 10, and to a current source 11. The emitter of the NPN transistor 10 is connected to GND, and the base is connected to an inverting input terminal of the operational amplifier 2 via series-connected diode 12 and diode 13, and to a reference voltage source 4.
