To provide a photographic processing device capable of continuously performing setup works for a plurality of photosensitive materials to shorten a period of time, and securely and appropriately perfoprming calibration and colorimetry for each of the photosensitive materials.
The photographic processing device includes: a print exposure section that forms an image on printing paper; a processor section that performs developing/drying process on the printing paper; a colorimetry section 80 that carries out colorimetry when a test print TP is conveyed into it when the test print TP is formed by an image forming section and the processor section; and a colorimetry control section 87 that controls the operation of the colorimetry section 80. The photographic processing device controls the colorimetry section 80 so as to calibrate the colorimetry section 80 immediately before colorimetry takes place. The photograph processing device has an image formation control section 41 configured such that in the case where the first printing paper P1 and second printing paper P2 are set up in succession, the timing of starting the formation of a set up image on the second photographic paper P2 by the use of the print exposure section is controlled so that calibration can be started for the colorimetry for the test print TP on the second printing paper P1 immediately after the colorimetry for the test print TP on the second printing paper P1 is finished.
