Abstract:
To provide a physical configuration derivation system and a physical configuration derivation method that derive a physical device configuration without depending on the function of a relay device in a LAN.SOLUTION: A physical configuration derivation system (physical configuration visualization system 1) includes one or more probes 20A and 20B that are connected one-to-one to a relay device 40 and transmit and receive a packet, and a management terminal 10 that is connected to the relay device 40, causes the probe to perform predetermined measurements by remote control, and analyzes the measurement results by the probe. Each of the probes transmits a request packet to each of the management terminal, component devices 30A and 30B, and a probe other than itself, receives a response packet in response to each request packet, and measures RTT required to receive the response packet from the transmission of the request packet. The management terminal performs data analysis to determine the connection relationship between the component device and the management terminal and the relay device, and derives the connection relationship determined by the data analysis on the basis of multiple pieces of RTT data measured by each of the probes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
