Abstract:

To provide magnetic characteristics higher than a conventional polar anisotropic ferrite magnet.

A bond magnet includes magnetic powder mainly made of a rare-earth element (R), Fe, N and, if necessary, Co, and a resin binder. In this case, ferrite magnet made up of barium ferrite or/and strontium may be mixed thereto. In a manufacturing method, a compound made up of the magnetic powder and the resin binder is injected in a die with a magnetic field strength of 2.5 kOe or above on the cavity face of the die on a generating side of an orientated field.
