Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide polycrystalline cubic baron nitride abrasive grain which hardly undergoes breakage due to oxidation even when used at a high temp.

CONSTITUTION: The abrasive grain comprises a polycrystalline cubic boron nitride of which the oxidation rate constant expressed by the parabolic rule in the air at 1,100°C is 0.005m4g2min- or lower.
