Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by correcting distortion of a transmitting side amplifier at the receiving side.
SOLUTION: The power amplifier distortion correction circuit comprises: a hard decision part 31 which performs hard decision on received data and outputs hard decision data; a subtraction part 32 which detects the difference between the received data and the hard decision data; a distortion extraction part 42 which extracts the distortion of the power amplifier that occurs in the power amplifier within a transmitter; and an addition part 36 which adds correction data for eliminating the power amplifier distortion to the received data.
