PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of more effectively using power generated by a photovoltaic power generation device, in a power system configured so as to be capable of using power obtained by the photovoltaic power generation device.SOLUTION: A load power supply battery supplies power to a load. A sub battery supplies power for charging the load power supply battery. A power converter comprises a first power conversion unit and second power conversion unit. The first power conversion unit performs power conversion on power generated by the photovoltaic power generation device, and is capable of charging the sub battery with power after the power conversion. The second power conversion unit performs power conversion on output of the first power conversion unit or sub battery, and outputs power after the power conversion to the load power supply battery. A power conversion control unit makes the first and second power conversion units operate so as to be capable of charging the load power supply battery with power obtained by superposing the output of the sub battery and output of the photovoltaic power generation device, when a charge residual amount of the sub battery is equal to or larger than a predetermined amount and fluctuation in the generated power is equal to or smaller than a predetermined amount.
