Abstract:

To effectively reduce gear shift shock in the transient period of gear shift in an automatic transmission mounted vehicle with no one-way clutch.

Output torque T in all the gear shift transient period (a), (b) is properly obtained by detecting angular acceleration of a casing of an automatic transmission through an acceleration sensor and calculating the output torque T of the automatic transmission in torque phase (a). Taking advantage of the output torque T of the automatic transmission, ECU for AT control properly controls hydraulic pressure CI1 of newly connected clutch CL1 side and hydraulic pressure CI2 of released clutch CL2 side as well as ignition timing of an engine so as to smoothly perform clutch changing.
