To avoid loss due to inertia torque of a generator in a hybrid vehicle provided with an engine, a motor and the generator.
Fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine can be improved by arranging a mechanism for separating a generator from a torque transmission system of the internal combustion engine of a hybrid vehicle and a driving wheel, or arranging a mechanism for separating the electric motor from the torque transmission system of the internal combustion engine of the hybrid car and the generator. Thus, the occurrence of inertia torque of the generator can be suppressed. Therefore, since the correction of the inertia torque due to the engine or the motor is not needed, a great fuel cost decrease can be achieved in accelerating a vehicle.
