PURPOSE: To prepare the subject vaccine comprising a uniflagellar H antigen of serotype a or a combination thereof with a flagellar H antigen of serotype b. CONSTITUTION: This preparation comprises a uniflagellar H antigen of serotype a or a combination thereof with a flagellar H antigen b, has effects on any combination of partial flagellar H antigens a0 , a1 , a2 , a3 , a4 and b and is active against infectious diseases with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. A blood plasma of a human donor immunized with the vaccine is treated with a protein precipitating agent (e.g. ammonium sulfate) and the precipitated immunoglobulin G- containing fraction is dissolved and purified. The purified fraction is than prepared as a galenical formulation. Thereby, a immunoglobulin G-containing formulation capable of inhibiting the motility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogens, promoting the phagocytosis of the pathogens and inducing the eradication of the opsonized pathogens in obtained.
