To provide a recombinant virus antigen having high antigenic activity by co-developing a virus antigen gene and a disulfide bond isomerizing enzyme gene in a host.
A virus antigen gene and a disulfide bond isomerizing enzyme gene are inserted in separate vectors capable of coexisting respectively to prepare two kinds of plasmids. Next, a host is subjected to phenotypic transformation by two kinds of plasmids and a transmormant in which two kinds of plasmids are incorporated is formed by culturing vectors, into which arbitrary drug tolerance genes different from each other are preliminarily introduced, in the presence of drugs to develop two kinds of drug tolerance genes together. The virus antigen gene and the disulfide bond isomerizing enzyme gene can be together developed by inserting both genes in one vector to prepare plasmid and transforming a host by the plasmid but they are pref. inserted in separate vectors.
