Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heat shielding structure which suppresses the heat through to a motor side from a pump side for handling a high temperature liquid to the min. without using a special heat shielding material.
CONSTITUTION: The blade wheel 4 of a pump 2 is installed at the shaft edge of a motor 1, and a pump case 6 is joined on the edge surface of a motor case 5, and a pump motor device for high temperature is integrally constituted. A packet shaped water storage part 12 which communicates through a fine gap 12a to the liquid passage on the pump side is formed at the edge surface part of the motor case. The heat transfer from the pump side to the motor side is suppressed by utilizing the handled liquid of the pump which fills the water storage part 12, for a heat shielding member. Further, a water jacket is formed on the peripheral surface of a constricted part 5 which is formed by contracting the sectional surface in the vicinity of the edge surface of the motor case 5, and the secondary cooling water for a heat exchanger for cooling the motor is allowed to flow in this water jacket.
