Abstract:
To provide an agent for preventing and/or treating inflammatory disorders in the upper alimentary canal.
A histamine H2 receptor antagonist includes a pyrroloquinoline compound represented by formula (1) [wherein R1 is chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen and 1-6C alkyl; R2 and R3 are identical to or different from each other and are each chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen, 1-6C alkyl and 1-6C haloalkyl; R4 is chosen from the group consisting of hydrogen, 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C haloalkyl, 6-10C aryl and 6-10C aryl 1-6C alkyl; and X is 1-6C alkylene], a salt thereof or a solvate thereof as an active ingredient.
