Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject new compd. having an antiviral effect on a human immunodeficiency virus.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. is expressed by formula I or formula II, wherein (n) is 0 to 4; R1 is a halogen, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy, a 1 to 8C alkyl, etc.; R2 is H, a 1 to 6C alkoxy, hydroxyl, picolyl, etc.; R5 is H, hydroxy, a 1 to 6C alkoxy, etc.; R3, R4 are each H, a 1 to 8C alkyl, a 2 to 8C alkenyl, etc.; X is O, S, Se, for example, (3S)-6-chloro-3-methyl-3,4-dihydroquinoxalin-2(1H)-one. The compd. of formula I is obtd., for example, by allowing a compd. expressed by formula III to react with a compd. expressed by formula IV (R is R5 or R2; Z is an eliminable group) in a solvent such as acetonitrile in the presence of a base such as triethylamine.
