Abstract:
To suppress the breakage of a recording wire, and at the same time, to suppress the deterioration of the recording quality.
A platen 21 which faces a recording head 18 equipped with the recording wire is urged by an urging spring 40 to the recording head 18. This recording device records an image by projecting the recording wire through an ink ribbon to a sheet which is carried on the urged platen 21. In the recording device, the urging force by the urging spring 40 to the platen 21 is measured, and the driving conditions of the recording head 18 are changed based on the measurement result.
