Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously house two kinds of media, to selectively reproduce one of the media, and to insert another one during the recording/reproducing of one of the media.
SOLUTION: An engaging hole 15 is bored in the side plate of a fame body 1, and the engaging hole 15 is provided with a locking part 15a, and large and small diameter parts 15b and 15c formed in both ends thereof. An entire mechanism including a main chassis is elastically supported inside the frame body 1, the tip of a locking pin 16 provided in the sliding cam plate of a main chassis side is inserted into the engaging hole 15 of the frame body, and the mechanism is locked when the locking pin 16 is engaged with the locking part 15a of the engaging hole 15. During the reproducing of a CD 13, the locking pin 16 is moved to the large diameter part 15b of the engaging hole 15, and the mechanism is moved by a large moving stroke with respect to the frame body 1. When an MD 14 is inserted from this state, after the locking of the mechanism based on the insertion detecting signal of the MD 14, the MD 14 is carried to a recording/reproducing position while maintaining this state. Then, an unlocking state is set in to enable movement.
