PURPOSE: To obtain a resin molding equipment reduced in running cost by extending a life of a plunger which pressurizes a resin tablet inserted in a pot of a mold.

CONSTITUTION: An elastic ring 11 is fitted in a groove 12 circumferentially formed on the outer peripheral surface of a plunger 10 inserted into a pot 3 of an upper mold 1. When the plunger 10 is inserted into the pot 3, the elastic ring 11 is brought into slide contact with the inner peripheral surface of the pot 3 by its elastic force. With the wear of the outer peripheral surface of the plunger 10 and the inner peripheral surface of the pot 3, the elastic ring 11 always comes into slide contact with the pot 3, thereby preventing an air entrapment from a clearance between the plunger 10 and the pot 3 and a loss of a pressurizing force of the plunger 10 on a resin tablet 9. The outer diameter of the elastic ring 11 is manually adjusted by a ring diameter adjusting means 14 incorporated in the plunger 10.
