Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll clamping device for roll strainghteners with which equipment is simplified and workability is improved to shorten roll changing time.
SOLUTION: This device has plural notched grooves 24 which are formed in the circumferential direction of the tip of the spindle 13, a cylindrical-member holding shaft 14 which is provided it the tip part of the spindle 13, a cylindrical member 15 which can be fit into the inside of a sleeve 12 on the outside of the cylindrical- member holding shaft 14 is provided with an outer flange 21 on the outer peripheral surface and is movable back and forth by the hydraulic pressure of the working fluid which is respectively supplied to two hydraulic chambers 17, 18 which are formed on the tip side and base side in the axial direction on the way of the cylindrical- member holding shaft 14 and clamping members 16 which are provided with plural projection parts 37 which are provided in the peripheral direction on the base side of the cylindrical-member holding shaft 14 and projectable outward in the radial direction and a slope 34 which is inclined toward the base side of the axial center of the spindle 13 and slid in the direction of the base end parts and axis of the cylindrical member 15 are respectively provided and locks the sleeve 12 by being pressed with outer flange 21.
