Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the durability of a roof tile fixing nail.
CONSTITUTION: The tail of a pile part 1 made of a steel wire material having a circular section with the tip 1a shapened is folded so that a head for driving 2 is formed, and a ridge 3 stretching in the protruding direction of the head 2 is furnished on the oversurface of a part 2a near the base end of the head 2. This permits the head 2 to be prevented from folding with impact of a hammer etc. When the part near the base end of head 2 is strucken by hammer, the ridge 3 is crushed first to relieve the impact so that the part 2a near the base end, and therefore the head 2 is precluded from risk of breakage.
