Abstract:
PURPOSE: To roof a tile roof of high strength correctly and efficiently by roofing a pantile in which nail holes 4 are provided nearby an upper cut-out part so that respective longitudinal bars setting the space based on a prescribed calculation formula are used as rules.
CONSTITUTION: When roofing is executed using a pantile in which one or more nail holes 4 are in the upper edge territory 6b of a roof tile main body l and nearby the top part of a mountain part 1a or a little outer edge 5a, the space S of longitudinal bars 9,9' providing on tile battens 8, 8' is strictly set base on a following formula, and the respective longitudinal bars 9, 9' are used as rules. S=L-(l+W/2), where L is the length of the upper edge 6b of the roof tile main body 1, and (l) is the space between the nail hole 4 of the mountain part 1a and the other side edge 6a. Namely the roof tile main body 1 is fixed, by engaging one of bar ends of the back of the upper edge 6b with the upper edge of the tile batten 8, correctly contacting one side edge 6a with the longitudinal bar 9', and nailing the longitudinal bar 6 directly under the nail holes 4. In this way, roofing is executed in order upward from the eaves tile side, while preceding a lateral row of a lower stage.
