Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove a danger of an interlayer shortcircuit at the turning parts of a field coil and to simultaneously enable to specify in advance the size of the turning parts in a coil lateral direction by winding the field coil so that the turning parts are disposed at the uppermost and lowermost stages. CONSTITUTION:The winding direction 29 of a coil is set to an elevational direction, and turning parts 28 are disposed at the uppermost and lowermost rows of a field coil 3. In this case, since the coil 3 is not swelled in a coil lateral direction, only the turning parts 28 are not particularly deteriorated in their insulation even if a relative displacement due to the start and stop of the rotor occurs between the side surface of the coil and an insulator support. Since the size of the coil lateral direction can be set in advance, the turning parts 28 can be disposed at the ends of the coil 3 or at grooves 17 without reducing the number of turns of the coil.
