Abstract:
To provide a novel single stranded RNAi molecule.SOLUTION: A single stranded RNA molecule mediating RNA interference to a target RNA includes: (a) a nucleic acid part including a first nucleotide part (N1) and a second nucleotide part (N2) which are not self-complementary (herein, the nucleic acid part includes at least 8 nucleotides capable of forming a base pair with a target site of the target RNA, and the total number of nucleotides in the nucleic acid part is 8 to 26 nucleotides); and (i) an internal spacer part (herein, the spacer part includes at least a first non-nucleotide spacer part (S1) which connects the first nucleotide part and the second nucleotide part by covalent bond).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
