PURPOSE: To prevent toner from being electrostatically attracted by a recording medium guiding member and to prevent the occurrence of the soiling on the rear side of a recording medium by destaticizing the recording medium guiding member.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of calling a side where a transfer paper 6 enters a transfer part 8 'an entrance side', and a side where the paper is ejected 'an exit side', the recording medium guiding member 9 is installed on the entrance side of a transfer and separation discharger 2. The recording medium guiding member 9 is constituted of material whose volume resistivity is ≤1010Ω.cm. And also, a supporting member 11 which is interposed between the entrance guiding member 9 and a shielding case 3 for the discharger 2 is constituted of material whose volume resistivity is ≥1010Ω.cm especially constituted of insulating material, or the like whose volume resistivity is ≥1012Ω.cm. And a grounding conductor 14 is connected with the entrance guiding member 9, and only when the transfer paper 6 passes through the discharger 2, a switch 16 installed on the way of the grounding conductor 14 is open, and the switch 16 is closed except the aforesaid time.
