PURPOSE: To realize a high speed processing in order to execute a shading correction of an image signal of a high speed.

CONSTITUTION: A ROM 3 in which a conversion table for converting a digital signal of an A/D converter 1 is written is provided, and the shading correcting device is constituted of a RAM 5 in which data converted by this ROM 3 is stored as a correction coefficient, and a digital multiplier 6 for multiplying its image data correction coefficient. In such a way, since a shading correction processing time is determined by only an arithmetic time of the A/D converter 1 and the digital multiplier 6, a shading correction which can execute a high speed processing is obtained.
