Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shunt current controller that makes it possible to efficiently use regenerative energy from an electric motor, by storing all or a part of the regenerative energy, of total regenerative energy, that cannot be fed back to a power source in another power source, and by supplying it.
SOLUTION: This shunt current controller is provided with a main power source 11 that supplies DC power; a sub-power source 15 that stores and supplies the DC power; electric motors 13, 14 that drive wheels 17 by supplying AC power; a master inverter 12 that converts the DC power supplied from the main power source 11 into the AC power to supply it to the motors 13, 14; and a slave inverter 16 that converters all or a part of regenerative power generated by the motors 13, 14 into the DC power to store it in the sub-power source 15. The master inverter 12 is connected to the slave one 16 at the AC circuit side.
