Abstract:
To provide a signal waveform technique such that timbre is wide in width, control is easy, and computational complexity is small.SOLUTION: There is provided a signal waveform synthesis device comprising a time varying neural network having a hierarchic structure such that: each layer comprises at least one or more basic units; a basic unit is a function of outputting a time varying waveform including at least one parameter; respective basic units are coupled among the respective layers so that a weighted sum of output values of respective basic units of each layer is an input to a next layer. The signal waveform synthesis device outputs, as time varying signals, a weighted sum of output values of respective basic units of the final layer of the time varying neural network.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
