Title:
SOLID STATE IMAGE SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02275669
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To perform high accuracy, miniature high density and to avoid variation of a black level and generation of a false signal by forming at least two light shielding films on a region corresponding to a black level setting sensor, and a light shielding film on a region corresponding to an imaging sensor.

CONSTITUTION: Since a shielding film 2A of a single layer is formed in a relatively reduced thickness on a part on which imaging sensors 7, i.e., miniature and many photodetecting sensors 5 are arranged to be formed in high density, opening of the film 2A, i.e., a photodetecting window for the photodetecting sensor can be accurately formed. On the other hand, since two shielding layers 2A and 2B or shielding film 2A and a black dye filter layer 2B1 are laminated on a black level setting sensor region 9 or storage 10, its thickness can be so increased as to arbitrarily sufficiently shield a light. Thus, a variation in a black level can be effectively avoided, and generation of a false signal in the storage 10 can be effectively avoided.
