Abstract:

To prepare an aqueous solution of an azulene, having a high content of the azulene, by completely dissolving the azulene therein without using a surfactant.

This preparation is prepared by adding the azulene, or a derivative thereof, or a salt thereof, and a polyhydric alcohol, and a polyethylene glycol thereto.
