Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stagnating liquid preventive device in a discharge pipe which maintains a hygienic state by immediately draining the liquid in the discharge pipe when liquid feed is stopped.
SOLUTION: The discharge pipe 34 which is opened at its front end opening 34a to the outdoor air and is mounted at a position lower than the position of its base part connected to a water feed source side has an intermediate large-diameter part 42 which communicates with the outdoor air near the base part and in the position higher than the front end opening 34a and has small- diameter parts at the top end and the bottom end. In addition, the marginal part of the bottom end small-diameter part is provided with a communicating path 40 having a communicating groove. A spherical body 43 having a diameter larger than the diameter of the small-diameter part and smaller than the diameter of the large-diameter part 42 and having a sp. gr. larger than the sp. gr. of the used liquid is freely vertically movably housed in this large-diameter part 42.
