PURPOSE: To obtain a stator core for electric rotating machine in which the cooling effect of stator winding is enhanced by enlarging the ventilation area of cooling medium at the tip of slot made in the ventilation duct of stator core thereby ensuring the flow rate of cooling medium and realizing a smooth ventilation of cooling medium while furthermore providing a ventilation spacer for the stator winding.
CONSTITUTION: The stator core for electric rotating machine comprises a punched core 2 being employed as the core for an electric rotating machine, and inner spacers 5 for laminating the punched core 2 and ventilating a stator winding 6 being set in a slot part 4 for every predetermined lamination. The slot part 4 and a slot tip part 3 are formed alternately in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft and a first inner spacer 5 has tapered portion 8 on the end side of the slop tip part 3.
