Abstract:

To provide a steam turbine power generation facility which can suppress loss of energy and obtain high efficiency of power generation, in such a way that, as an energy source necessary for carbon dioxide recovering system, exhaust steam with low exergy is utilized after power generation by a steam turbine using solar heat, and to provide an operation method of the steam turbine power generation facility.

The steam turbine power generation facility 10 includes: a steam turbine facility 20 which drives a steam turbine with steam from a boiler 21 generating steam using combustion heat and a heat collection steam generator 31 generating the steam using sunlight to generate power; and a carbon dioxide recovering facility 60 which recovers carbon dioxide contained in combustion gas from the boiler 21 and the like. The steam from the heat collection steam generator 31 is conducted to a solar heat steam turbine 32, and after making expansion work, part of the steam is conducted to the carbon dioxide recovering facility 60 through a piping 51 and heats absorption liquid 100 of a regeneration tower 80.
