Abstract:
To provide a steering device that can adopt a rotation angle sensor having a smaller body frame.SOLUTION: A steering device includes: a pinion 31 that rotates in accordance with operation of a steering wheel or turning wheels; a housing 33 supporting the pinion shaft 31 to be rotatable; and a rotation angle sensor 45 disposed at a support portion 33a of the housing 33 to detect a rotation angle of the pinion shaft 31. The rotation angle sensor 45 includes: a magnet 52 fixed to an end portion of the pinion shaft 31; and a magnetic sensor 63 that is disposed opposed to the magnet 52 in an axial direction of the pinion shaft 31 and generates, based on a change in magnetic field along with the rotation of the magnet 52, an electric signal corresponding to the rotation angle of the pinion shaft 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
