Title:
STRUCTURE OF SCRIBED GROOVE FOR PRINTED BOARD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2548664
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate burr from the cutting face at the end of scribed groove by gradually increasing the depth of scribing groove at the end thereof in a hard basic material which is folded along scribed grooves etched in the surface thereof and split into individual boards.
CONSTITUTION: Depth of scribed groove 2 made in the surface of a basic material 1 is set deeper at the end part 2a thereof than at the central part 2b thereof. The scribed grooves 2 for partitioning board regions 3 are formed, in grid, in the surface of the basic material 1 composed of hard material such as alumina with the depth of each scribed groove increasing gradually toward the outside at the point where the laterally and longitudinally extending grooves 2 intersect, i.e., the end point 2a thereof. When the board is folded along the scribed groove, the board can be cut off vertically to the board surface even at the end part of the groove and thereby formation of skirt type burr can be prevented.
