Title:
STYRENE POLYMER FILM HAVING COATING LAYER, PRODUCTION THEREOF, AND SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08239497
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a silver halide photosensitive material from giving a print having dimensional distortion or image blurring through contact printing by using a styrene polymer film having a substratum and regulated so as to have a corrugation height not larger than a specific value.

CONSTITUTION: A film consisting mainly of a syndiotactic styrene polymer is coated with a layer. The coating layer is dried at 50-200°C while the coated film is kept being transferred with rolls apart from each other at a distance of 0.1-10m at the most. The length of the zone where the film is contacted with the rolls is 3-200cm at the most, and the tension imposed on the film during the drying is 2-40kg/m. A silver halide photosensitive material comprises a base consisting mainly of a syndiotactic styrene polymer, a substratum and/or a back layer, and a silver halide emulsion layer, and the base has a corrugation height of 18mm or smaller.
